The New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers leave the Bronx tied at one game apiece, as the ALDS heads to Comerica Park for the next two match-ups.
With Game 3 featuring both teams’ aces, CC Sabathia and Justin Verlander, who were the original Game 1 starters until Mother Nature stopped the battle after an inning and a half, Yankee fans were awaiting the news of who would start Game 4 on Tuesday.
ESPN’s Ian Begley reported that Yankees skipper Joe Girardi officially named A.J. Burnett as his starter in Game 4 of the ALDS for the New York Yankees.
So, now you know Yankee fans and personally I have to mull over this news for a night.
I will leave Yankee fans with this…
Let’s say the Yankees lose Game 3, is AJ Burnett the most suitable starter in a do, or you can kiss the postseason goodbye game situation????

Yanks are one and done now. Girardi would've been better served starting his best rookie callup pitcher from Sept. than Garcia or Colon, Burnett's not much better unless he's consistent like the last two games he's pitched. This team is limited to 2 consistent starters C.C. and Nova, Cashman's to blame for not replenishing the starting rotation and it's now the Achilles heel that will end Yanks postseason.
Yes the rotation was not the issue it was the Yankee bats that went dead….the pitchers kept the team very much in games all season long!!! The bats were cold as ice and Detroit did the job of holding the Yankees in numerous critical situations. Tigers should get props, but Yankees did choke because there were multiple times they could have at least tied up Game 5.
