Yes, the New York Yankees broke a five game losing streak last night, beating the Boston Red Sox last night 4-1.

Yes, the returns of Mark Teixeira and Kevin Youkilis made the makeshift Yankees line-up feel, look and play deeper.

And yes, CC Sabathia finally pitched like an ace pitching seven strong innings, giving up just one earned run and fanning 10 Red Sox.

This win was definitely needed, certainly appreciated and should turn the page on what had occurred the days earlier, the four game sweep at the hands of the Mets.

Well, the embarrassment might have gotten abolished but thanks to twitter my anger over got infused again.

So I have no other choice but to share this tweet that has since been removed.

It came via Mets pitcher Collin McHugh.

Good question, but this 25-year old, no name pitching stats should paint you a clear picture. (all stats courtesy of baseball-reference.com)

It is safe to say from McHugh’s tweet that this kid is not shy, but an attitude adjustment is unquestionably warranted.

McHugh will make his first start of the season today vs. the Miami Marlins. The Mets lost to the Marlins last night 5-1, so McHugh has the series vs. the worst team in baseball riding on his shoulders. Yankee Universe will be keeping an eye on that box score that is for sure.
