Tonight, up in Fenway Park is the beginning of a 17-game stretch for New York Yankees.
Before their next off-day, Yankees face the Boston Red Sox for five games, four games against the Tigers in Detroit, three against the 1st seat Twins, two against Tampa Bay Rays and last three games over the bridge in Citi-field for the Subway Series.
The Tigers are hot right now, and the Twins and Rays are both in first place.
The Red Sox cannot be counted out because when the rivals face each other it is a war that cannot be predicted.
Finally, the Mets have found life again but New York City is all pinstripes that will not change quickly. The Mets had to start somewhere. The Empire State Building donned in blue and orange would get the ball rolling.
By the time the Yanks go to Subway Series, let’s hope the injuries are not worse.
Yankee youngsters’ led by Cano, Gardner, Pena, Cervelli, Chamberlain and Hughes have done the job well so far, but can they maintain is the case looming.
In 17-days we will see the answers, as for now the Champions hold the opportunity to explain.
