Why the Yankees were supposed to lose to Twins

As I was throwing out papers today, I came across the reasons the Yankees were doomed to lose the first game of their series against the Twins. The notes were a mess; as I had written them late on Sunday night but my reasoning actually turned out to be pretty accurate so I thought why […]

New York Yankees: Things are about to get harder.

After a lovely weekend of taking two of three from the Angels, the Yankees looked good minus Phil Hughes. Last night the Yankees opened a four game set in the Bronx against the Minnesota Twins with a 3-7 loss. It didn’t help that Carl Pavano (aka. American Idle) was on the mound for the Twins, […]

He walked 17 batters and allowed 21 earn runs, but Nova’s overall performance wasn’t as bad as the stats make it seem. Still, the Nova from last year would not have been named as the Yankees fourth starter.

Two-time reigning AL Central Champions; the Minnesota Twins are looking to three-peat in 2011. For the Twins and their loyal fans, the postseason has been bittersweet, not being able to get past the ALDS or more specifically the New York Yankees. The Evil Empire has the Twins number, sweeping the series both in 2009 and […]

The rumor that New York Yankees have been interested in Minnesota Twins Francisco Liriano has reappeared again over the last week, according to ESPN’s Andrew Marchand Trade Watch. It is no secret that the Yankees are in the market for another starting pitcher, which I am not opposed too but not right now. My understanding […]
