The 2012 MLB season proves that time does fly when you are having fun, as it is hard to believe that the end of first-half is upon us.
This has been one of the most exciting, entertaining and riddled with drama I have ever seen.
Nothing about this season is predictable. Teams like the Pirates, Orioles and Mets are right up there with the best, playoff contending teams. The question remains whether any of them are they hungry enough to stay there because they certainly don’t lack the talent. And that is a formula for one scary underdog to face in October.
The Yankees (50-32) own the best record in MLB, and my guess is hater fans must be so livid so at least one thing hasn’t changed. The Bombers are clearly the best team at the halfway point because they keep winning regardless of all the injuries this team has suffered.
The mighty Rangers aren’t invincible but the media NEVER speaks of Texas when they are sucking. The Rangers are midst a 5-game losing streak that would have been longer if they didn’t play under .500 teams for 10 days earlier. Oswalt pick-up exposes how desperate Texas is for starting pitching. My guess is the Angels will ravage them and be atop the AL West by August.
Okay…enough is enough so you can breathe now because here are my 2012 weekly power rankings:
